# Phone OTP Login & Verification

Phone-based authentication is the default and recommended sign-in method on Cravme. It eliminates password fatigue and prevents unauthorized account access.

## 1. Entering Your Mobile Number

1. Open the Cravme app or web portal and navigate to the **Sign In** screen.
2. **Select Country Dial Code**: Tap the country flag selector (e.g. `+91` India, `+1` USA/Canada, `+44` UK, `+971` UAE, `+65` Singapore). You can search by country name or dial prefix.
3. **Input Phone Number**: Enter your 10-digit mobile number.
4. Tap **Continue / Request OTP**.

## 2. SMS Code Verification

- A 6-digit numeric verification code is dispatched immediately via carrier SMS.
- **Auto-Read (Android & iOS)**: On supported devices, Cravme automatically detects and fills the incoming SMS OTP code.
- **Manual Input**: If auto-read is disabled, type the 6 digits into the individual PIN boxes.
- **Resend Countdown Timer**: If you do not receive the SMS code within 30 seconds, the **Resend OTP** button becomes active.

## 3. Account Creation on First Login

If your phone number is new to Cravme:
- You will be prompted to enter your **Full Name** and optional **Email Address** for order invoices.
- Your customer profile is instantly created with zero lengthy forms.
